Georgia Missions Project
The Missions Project continues to be a huge success each summer!
The property is rural, and raw. The first building was an outhouse! Currently 4 cabins and a barn have been built. We have RV hookups and a well with good cold water. We have drawn up plans and laid the foundation for the centerpiece building, the Lodge. The buildings will be funded by donations and built largely by volunteers. We are scheduling men’s groups and have been thrilled to do yearly Georgia Missions Projects – kids building the property while being built for life and trained in the Word.
We ask that you pray and plan towards what God will do in your life and for others who will be impacted by your life as a result of the Lord’s working through you.
Those with a mind to work
For the past seven years, we have watched the Lord supply building materials, many volunteers (skilled and unskilled), and shape the property into the embryo of Grace Farm. It has been an awesome adventure! The majority of workers have been teen-agers.
We spend a week with some of God’s choice people roughing it in camp conditions training teens and advancing the property development all at the same time. You would have to see it to believe it!
The Project is not for everyone
The project is designed for student missionaries who are seeking to play a vital role in advancing the property at Grace Farm and who are excited about growing in Christ while being molded by the experiences that a short term missions trip can provide.The cabins are clean, with own bathrooms, and have a nice view of the property.
We do not promise comfort! We promise early wakeups (probably in weird ways), hard work, hot days, bugs, meaty chunks of God’s Word, and the thrill and satisfaction of knowing at the end of the day that what we did was significant.
